Introducing...

FIMBA Alumni

The Football Industries MBA programme (FIMBA) is truly unique.  It is the only course in the world that focuses on the professionalisation, business and marketing of football.

In 2007, over 50 graduates celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the course at a reunion event in Glasgow by forming FIMBA Alumni. This association was created to promote the interests of the graduates of FIMBA.

We are FIMBA Alumni.  Football is our business.

GlobalSportsJobs, FIMBA Alumni's recruitment partner, have announced the launch of their search for around 20 positions for St George's Park.

St George’s Park (SGP) will be The FA Group’s headquarters for the FA Football Development team and home of FA Learning, training home of the 24 England representative teams.

Situated 4 miles away from Burton –upon-Trent, SGP is due for completion in late Summer 2012.  The vision for SGP is:

• To become a training destination of choice for coaches, players, administrators and officials from all backgrounds and communities within football and beyond;
• To become the home of English football development, bringing to life and embodying the ‘whole-game’ coaching and playing philosophy outlined in The FA’s Technical Guide, The Future Game;
• To become a one-stop coaching and support environment which enhances personal development, leadership qualities, rehabilitation and fitness;
• To offer all its facilities and services beyond sport and facilitate cross-learning between the sporting and business sectors.

David Sheepshanks, Chairman of St George's Park, explains more about the exciting plans for the FA here.

FIMBA ALUMNI PROGRAMME

The FIMBA Alumni programme was established to promote, foster and maintain relationships, mutual assistance and information between the Alumni, the University of Liverpool Football Industries Group, current and potential students for professional, academic and social reasons.

It aims to promote and raise the awareness of the Alumni and the FIMBA course within the sports industry on a worldwide basis.

WHAT WE DO & HOW WE DO IT

Our vision is to be ahead of the game.

We will embrace partnerships with those wishing to align themselves with current and future industry leaders.

We aim to be the highest regarded sports alumni association in the world.
