About the Football Industries MBA Alumni Network
The FIMBA Alumni Network is the home for graduates of the Football Industries MBA at the University of Liverpool Management School. It is run by alumni, independent of the University, and supported by the Management School, which shares the network with its graduates.
Members meet, mentor, hire and learn from each other across clubs, federations, media, technology and agencies.

The Football Industries MBA (FIMBA) is a specialised Master of Business Administration dedicated entirely to the global business of football. It combines a core MBA curriculum covering leadership, marketing and financial management with specialist football modules. The programme focuses on the professionalisation, administration and commercial dynamics of the modern sports industry, and gives graduates a 360-degree understanding of the game.

The University of Liverpool Management School

History of the programme
Established in 1997, FIMBA was the first MBA programme of its kind anywhere in the world. It was created for a turning point in the sport: the rapid commercial expansion that followed the formation of the English Premier League and the reorganisation of the UEFA Champions League.
For over 25 years the programme has adapted to the technological and cultural shifts in sports business. What began as a pioneering idea in Liverpool has grown into an international benchmark, producing hundreds of graduates from dozens of countries who now shape the global game.
